Tailwind turns 4: Building, learning, and (finally) launching a new website

Four years ago, Tailwind Consulting was born with a simple idea: to be the strategic partner every B2B marketer wished they had. Not an agency churning out campaigns. Not a deck factory. Just a consultancy that’s willing to ask the tough questions, roll up our sleeves, and help businesses grow the right way.

Of course, no one told us that “growth” would sometimes mean sitting through discovery calls where the client pivoted faster than a TikTok trend. Or that one moment you’re strategizing, the next you’re googling Gen Z slang because apparently “snatched” is a thing now. Our strategy meetings were as unpredictable as my cat at 3 a.m. – one minute calm, the next, chaos.

What we’ve learned

We’ve learned that sometimes, the smartest thing you can do is say “no.” (And if you want the full story, you’ll love this piece I recently wrote for Social Samosa.

But we’ve also learned to say “yes” to the right challenges.

Over these four years, we’ve helped brands build ground-up event IPs, craft industry reports that get people talking, and develop systems that don’t just work, they scale. We’ve driven leads through email, social, and events; nailed ICP-focused content; and built frameworks that help clients think smarter and move faster.

And yes, 2025 was the Year of Gen Z Slang. We’re not saying we’re fluent in “skibidi,” but we’ve had to level up our meme game just to keep pace with our own team.

This year also brought milestones that matter: we finally launched our new website and welcomed back some of our old colleagues, ready to help write the next chapter.
